Go nerd girl goLife's been incredibly busy despite the 'umemployed' status. Between hospital visits and keeping to a daily exercise routine, I don't know where the time goes. But I have my suspicions... Nerd Girl is back and she's taking over!
I'm back to micro-managing my days, a la Sydney when I had so much to do (work, school, gym, housekeeping), 'cept I don't have very much to actually do right now. I have two organisers now, a regular one and a health one - to record weight, medicines, hospital appointments and my excercise routine. Just keeping them updated is time-consuming (but oh so fun!).
Feeling incredibly happy, despite major problems with my ever-changing physical appearance. This feeling vascillates depending on:
#1 How much I weigh in the morning
#2 The ability to fit into my clothes
#3 The amount of fuzz that has appeared overnight
#4 The size of my new 'stress hump'
Weight is constant now - the water retention is not so bad. I'm still fat(ish)... but the doctors keep telling me it's the medication... No matter, cos I run at least 6km every morning on my new best friend The Elliptical Trainer.
The fuzz thing is driving me nuts, cos I'm still kinda balding. I'm going in reverse, turning from Golem into a Hobbit... I have lil hairs growing on my bleeding earlobes for crying out loud!
The 'stress hump' is a new discovery, not to be confused with Lumpkid. This fella's on the back of my neck and he is making friends with the encroaching fuzz that is sprouting on me back.
I feel SO attractive... like an ogre... but ogres can be beautiful too (cf. Shrek 1 and Shrek 2).
Like I told bunniekins, I can deal with this...through Humour and Violence. So I'll suck it up and make jokes, but if anyone else dares to rag me about the fuzz, bloat or hump, there's gonna be a pounding comin' your way.
